IRD Scam Alert

Please be aware that there is a scam circulating at the moment where people are getting a txt, supposedly from the IRD, asking for bank account details to be provided so that refunds can be actioned.  IRD have been notified of this and are investigating and will try and shut this down.

Please do not give out your details to anyone unless you are absolutely sure who you are providing the information to.   Please contact us if you need any clarification on what you are being asked to provide.

Mondayisation of Public Holidays

Following legislation changes, this year for the first time, ANZAC day which falls on Saturday 25th April will be Mondayised and this means the holiday may be transferred to Monday for some employees.

ANZAC Day commemorations still officially remain on Saturday 25 April

Trading restrictions will remain on 25 April (the official day) but they do not apply to the Monday.

The following flow chart on Mondayisation of Public Holidays put out by Employment New Zealand may be of some assistance when processing wages for employees.
